The Bluebird fiber network includes over 153 Points of Presence (POP) sites, including the major cities of Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, Tulsa, Peoria, Rockford, Bloomington, Normal and the Quad Cities. Bluebird Network has a national reach through its partner, INDATEL Services, which connects the fiber-optic networks of independent telephone companies across the United States.

Bluebird Network provides a wide area of coverage, that coverage is based on our robust fiber optic network. Bluebird Network offers a superior Internet product, utilizing key enhancements to provide a premium level of service.

We provide E-Line Services, Ethernet Virtual Private Lan Service (E-LAN), Mobile Backhaul Transport, secure and reliable bandwidth, and a variety of other carrier services, all following industry standard Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) guidelines for service and reliability.

Bluebird Network offers data center, colocation, gigabit transport and gigabit dedicated Internet services through our Bluebird Underground Data Center, located 85 feet below the earth’s surface in Springfield, Missouri.

A FAST, EFFICIENT, AND SECURE FIBER NETWORK

Our E-Line services are provided over Bluebird Network’s MPLS/Optical mesh backbone and combine the benefits of intelligent routing with the advantages of 100% committed bandwidth for point-to-point or point-to-multipoint Ethernet services. Our extensive fiber optic network with over 100 Points of Presence (POPs) creates a short access loop, which translates into lower latency and higher service reliability.

Services can be delivered on a per port, or per VLAN basis, depending upon the customer’s requirements and network complexity; providing support for the separation of traffic between corporate or department LANs. Each service can be configured with one of three Class of Service profiles to support the applications specific to that VLAN or department.

ETHERNET VIRTUAL PRIVATE LAN SERVICE (E-LAN)

Our E-LAN services enable the direct flow of communication between multiple sites over Bluebird Network’s MPLS/Optical meshed backbone, eliminating the need to pass through a central location.

Our E-LAN products are multipoint-to-multipoint services that forward traffic to any destination in the service and can be delivered on a per port, or per VLAN basis, depending upon the customer’s requirements and network complexity; providing support for the separation of traffic between corporate or department LANs.

Each service can be configured with one of three Class of Service profiles to support a variety of business applications.

MOBILE BACKHAUL TRANSPORT

Our Mobile Backhaul Transport service provides Wireless Service Providers (WSP) with highly reliable, low latency bandwidth between their cell sites and Mobile Telephone Switching Offices (MTSO) located in the Midwest. Bluebird Network has constructed an advanced fiber optic network with a 30Gbps backbone capable of scaling to 100Gbps as bandwidth demand grows.
